11 More Tested Positive for Covid-19

Rawalpindi: At least 11 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, while 129 patients were already quarantined in parts of Rawalpindi division, the district health authority said on Saturday.
The 129 COVID-19-affected people are quarantined in their homes, the sources said.
As per the fresh data released by the District Health Authority, among the recent suspected Covid-19 cases, four arrived from Potohar Town, three from Islamabad, two from Taxila, and one each from Rawal Town and Attock.
“Presently, 129 confirmed patients are quarantined at homes, and one of each is in the Benazir Bhutto and Holy Family Hospital,” the statement reads. The report informed that out of 46,976 total infected cases, 43,436 were from Rawalpindi and 3,540 from other districts of the province.
The report further said that 6,967,775 people, including 44,797 health workers, had jabbed themselves against the lethal Covid-19 across the district since the vaccination-administering drive launched on March 10, 2021.
The health authority updated that during the last 24 hours, 611 samples were collected, out of which 600 were declared negative, while the positivity rate was recorded at 1.80 percent.
