11 Cops Dismissed for Refusing Polio Security Duty

Peshawar: The District Police Officer (DPO) of Bannu terminated the services of 11 police officials on Monday for failing to comply with official orders.

The dismissed personnel had been instructed to perform security duty for polio teams in the Lakki Marwat district, which they refused to accept.

According to a police spokesperson, the terminated officials included constables, head constables, and a driver.

Those removed from service are Head Constable Sher Aslam, Head Constable Mir Zaman, FC Zahin Ullah, FC Tauseef Ullah, FC Farid Ullah, Lower Head Constable Hazrat Ullah, FC M Qabaz, Lower Head Constable Bakhtiar, FC Farman Ullah, and FC Anwar Ali Shah.
