10th Grade Chemistry Paper Leaked in Karachi, Sparks Outrage

Islamabad: The 9th and 10th grade exams under the Board of Secondary Education in Karachi are currently underway. 

Today (Friday), the 10th grade chemistry paper, scheduled for the morning shift, was leaked on social media before the exam began.

In the afternoon shift, 9th grade general group students will take their Islamiat (compulsory) paper.

In Karachi, 160,842 students from the 10th grade science group and over 16,000 students from the 9th grade general group are sitting for their exams.

A total of 505 examination centers have been set up, with 148 in government schools and 357 in private schools.

An examination center has also been established in the Central Jail, where 22 students are taking their matriculation exams.

Overall, more than 368,000 students are registered for the matriculation exams. The spokesperson for the Matriculation Board has warned that any mobile phones found during the exam will be confiscated.

Additionally, Section 144 is in force around the examination centers, and photostat shops in these areas will remain closed during the exams.
