10 Injured in Bahawalpur Road Accident

Bahawalpur: At least 10 passengers were critically injured in a road accident in Musafir Khana area of Bahawalpur on Thursday. 

The incident involved a passenger coach that overturned and caught fire near a gasoline station on the Karachi-Lahore national highway.

According to local police and rescue sources, the high-roof coach, traveling from Sadique Abad to Bahawalpur, overturned near Musa Wala Pump in the outskirts of Bahawalpur. 

Emergency services were alerted at 8:28 am, and ambulances from Rescue 1122 promptly responded to the scene.

Rescue teams swiftly transferred the injured to nearby hospitals, where the condition of two individuals remains serious.

Initial investigations suggest that a tire malfunction may have caused the coach to overturn, though further inquiries are ongoing.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and provide necessary assistance to those affected by the tragic incident.
