A three-day food festival celebrating Pakistan’s rich traditional and regional cuisines concluded on Sunday after attracting a large number of visitors from Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) organized the fourth edition of Pindi Food Fest at Ayub Park, providing a platform to showcase traditional dishes, innovative food concepts, and branding opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), startups, and women entrepreneurs, particularly from the food sector.

The festival featured a wide range of cuisines, including Peshawari Chappal Kabab, Kabuli Pulao, Savor dishes, and Gilgit-Baltistan’s Mamtu, alongside various fast-food options, drawing families and food enthusiasts from the twin cities.

Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi, Ambassador of Algeria Brahim Romani, Station Commander Rawalpindi Cantonment Brigadier Ali Anjum Syed, and representatives of various trade associations visited the festival and appreciated RCCI’s initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister Hanif Abbasi commended RCCI for its proactive role in addressing issues faced by the business community while promoting cultural, social, and recreational activities. He congratulated RCCI President Usman Shaukat, the chamber’s leadership, and the organizing team on the successful event.

The minister said such people-friendly initiatives play an important role in projecting Pakistan’s positive image nationally and internationally, adding that the participation of foreign diplomats would help promote the country’s culture, traditions, and hospitality abroad.
